Appeasement :The congress way

Sachar Commitee

Justice Rajendra Sachar headed a committee to find the state of muslims in India
following are the findings
1.Muslims have a lower literacy rate

2.Muslim Parents are averse to mainstream education

3.The representation of muslims in the IAS is just 3%, 1.8%in IFS, 4% in IPS
The committee also wanted to count the number of muslims in army but was unable to do that .

There are still many findings but I dont want to mention all, you can find the report on Internet

So to solve the problem of muslims Sachar committee wants various kinds of reservations be given to muslims just like there are reservations for SCs'and STs'.

Giving reservations to dalits is justified as they were socially backward and they were boycotted by many sections of the society even till independence and in some parts of the country they are still being discriminated, but the case of muslims is completely different they formed the upper strata of the society, they were rulers in many parts of the country, they were never deprived of any opportunities, they were treated on par with Hindus, if they are still backward then there is some serious problem which has not been given much attention.

The basic problem is population which is the mother cause for poverty, illiteracy and unemployment ,generally a muslim family is bigger than a hindu family, and moreover if the family is poor the family cannot afford to educate all of their children resulting in muslim parents being averse to mainstream education, and thus contributing to the depression in literacy levels. So awareness is more important than reservation. Its such an irony that muslim fundamentalism is on rise in India and madrasas and fatwas are being given more importance which are acting like goons in disguise hampering the growth of Indian muslims. If government is more interested in doing something good then why dont they provide better education at cheaper costs, why dont they take measure so that more muslim girls and boys are enrolled into school.

Its interesting to note that the states which were ruled by the so called secular parties lags behind when the matter is about muslim representation, for example west bengal where left parties have ruled for more than 30 years where muslims constitute more than 25% of population has just around 4.2% muslims in government jobs and the same is the case with UP and Bihar, but gujrat seems to be good in this regard, so it seems that people who speak about the welfare are not really intersted in welfare they just propose such schemes which look lucrative but are not, they just want to grab the votes but dont want to pay the debts, its all about vote bank politics and it can be clearly seen when Manmohan Singh our Prime Minister says that muslims should be given first priority, did he meant that the rest of the people are second class citizens, I as a Hindu was really hurt when our PM said that I will not be given the same priority. The findings of Sachar committee are accurate but the root problems are not being addressed properly and I am sure they will never be just like BJP remembering lord Rama during elections, congress and its allies will appease minorities with such candies.
